Acceleration in temperature increase over India : An application of two-phase regression

A key issue in climate change is the extent to which there are changes variables that may be consistent with anthropogenically induced change. In this paper an attempt has been made apply two-phase regression model records of long term annual mean surface air temperature over India examine whether any significant trends across country. We find most stations selected for study, show acceleration during mid 1900’s. Even though a considerable variation regard specific point year seen however appear common periods different stations. Further analysis duration useful attributing these anthropogenic forcing or natural variability.
